News & Legislation Update:  9-8-2006


FWFSA MEMBER INJURED IN BURNOVER

Chris Fry, a BLM firefighter out of Bakersfield and member of the FWFSA was injured while battling the Mudd Fire on August 23rd. He is currently being treated at the Grossman Burn Center at the Sherman Oaks Hospital in California, but will be staying at the following address where cards and letters may be sent:

We will work with the Wildland Fire Foundation to ensure Chris gets everything he needs. In the meantime, please help us keep tabs on injuries in the field. If you know of injuries, regardless of FWFSA membership, please relay that information to us so we can be proactive, especially if it is an FWFSA member.
